RemixMode: Redefining Online Fashion Shopping

Problem:

Finding the right clothing size while shopping online is a common challenge. Users often face uncertainty with fit and struggle to visualize how outfits will look together, leading to frustration and returns.

Goal:

To create a personalized shopping experience for GoFind users by leveraging technology to simplify size recommendations and outfit visualization.

The Solution:

Remix Mode, a feature designed under the Fynd Design Lab, uses 3D avatars to transform the online shopping experience:

3D Avatar Creation:

Users upload a facial profile, scan their body, or manually input dimensions to generate a realistic avatar.

Customized Homepage:
The app features the user’s face as the model showcasing outfits, creating a deeply personalized experience.

Intelligent size Recommendation

The feature analyzes past order history and avatar dimensions to suggest the best size for each item.

Remix Mode Experience:

Users can enter prompts to describe desired outfits.

Select and tweak individual clothing items.

Visualize how pieces look together on their avatar.

This project taught me the importance of balancing personalization with usability. RemixMode pushed the boundaries of user-centered design by blending creativity, AI, and collaboration.
